WAVE Sync is a feature of the Wisenet WAVE video management system. Developed by Hanwha Vision, that enables remote and centralized connectivity to multiple video surveillance systems. without the need for complicated network configurations such as port forwarding.

Main features of WAVE Sync:

🔒 Secure remote access: Allows you to connect to WAVE servers behind routers with NAT. (network address translation), without the need to open ports manually.

☁️ Cloud service: It is hosted in the cloud (Amazon AWS). making it easy to manage and view live or recorded video from any modern browser.

🧩 Automatic connection: Uses services such as a mediator and a relay. (proxy) to establish connections between client and server, even if both are behind firewalls or NAT.

🆔 Unique system ID: Each system connected to WAVE Sync is given a unique system ID. (UUID), which makes it easy to identify and manage.

🔄 Synchronization and centralized administration: You can manage multiple systems from a single portal, ideal for integrators or companies with multiple locations.

1. Access the Wave Sync Tab:

• Go to the “Wave Sync” tab. https://sync.wavevms.com/

Next, we will explain how to create an account in Wave Sync and assign permissions to different users.

Create Wave Sync Account:

Click on “Create Wave Sync Account.”

Accept the Terms and Conditions.

Fill in all required fields, such as name, email address, and password.


• After creating the account, click on “Connect System to Wave Sync.” •
Enter the email address and password of the Wave Sync account.

3. Connect the System to Wisenet Wave Sync:

Check the “Stay Logged In” option if you wish to remain logged in.

4. Finalize Configuration:

• Click “OK” to complete the setup.
• You can now add Wave Sync user accounts to the system.

How to Grant Permissions to a User on Wisenet Server via Web

1. Access the Web Interface:

• Open your web browser and navigate to the URL of the Wisenet Server.
• Log in with your administrator credentials.

2. Navigate to User Management:

• In the main menu, select “User Management.”

3. Select the User:

• Find the user to whom you want to grant permissions.

4. Assign Permissions:

• In the user’s profile, look for the “Permissions” or “Roles” section.
• Select the appropriate permissions or roles for the user. This may include access to specific cameras, recordings, or administrative functions.

5. Save Changes:


• After configuring the permissions, click “Save” to apply the changes.
• Verify that the permissions have been updated correctly.
