What is the common error HCNetSDK.dll?

 

The error code common HCNetSDK.dll typically refers to a problem with the HCNetSDK.dll file. Which is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) used by certain video surveillance software. Especially those associated with Hikvision devices and software. These enterprise is a well-known manufacturer of video surveillance products. Their software often relies on the HCNetSDK.dll to interact with Hikvision security cameras, recorders, and other security devices.

To solve this error, it is recommended to reset all the camera parameters except the IP. that has been configured to facilitate the search of the camera after the process. For this, we enter the camera configuration via web. and then go to menu >> Configuration >> System >> Maintenance Upgrade & Maintenance >> Restore. As shown in the following image.

After resetting the Hikvision security cameras configuration we must enter the IVMS-4200 software and in the Main View window look for the camera and change the main stream option to sub stream in the configuration of the camera with the problem, this should solve the problem, if this does not work we can change in the same menu the Main Stream option to Auto-Change Stream which adapts to the resolution of the screen if we need to zoom at some point.
