Introduction

Akuvox smartplus offers a variety of methods to open doors, providing security and convenience. This The manual covers the main available access methods. Download the SmartPlus app: Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Open the app and log in with your credentials.

After logging in, proceed to view all access methods.
Go to the “Me” tab

In the “Authorization” window, you can manage your access credentials.

Access Methods

Temporary Access Codes

Tap on “Temp Keys” to create temporary access codes.

Click the + Temp Key button to add a new temporary key, specify the name, identifier, and repetition mode:
1. By number of uses
2. Daily
3. Weekly

Choose the devices it will operate on, the days, and the time range it will be effective.

You can use the generated QR code (only on supported devices) or the generated
PIN code.

There is also the option of “Quick Create Temp Key Info,” which generates a quick
access key.

NFC Access

Enable unlocking via NFC Unlock.

NOTE: ONLY Android mobile phones support the NFC door-opening feature. The device must
have NFC functionality, and it must be active; the configuration varies depending on the mobile
phone brand.

After configuration, users can open doors by placing their mobile phones near the
device’s card reader area.

Bluetooth Access

TIP: The device must have Bluetooth active, and the configuration varies depending on themobile phone brand.
Enable unlocking via Bluetooth Unlock

Bluetooth door opening has three modes:

Shake: Opens the door by shaking the mobile phone near the Akuvox Intercom. In the SmartPlus akuvox app, tap “Me” > Authorization. Enable Bluetooth Unlock and select “Shake” as the unlock mode.

The door will open when users shake their mobile phones near the Intercom’s card reader area.
Hands-Free: Opens the door when the mobile phone is within the predefined range of the Intercom (configured to a range of 2 meters).

Tap as Card: Opens the door by placing the mobile phone on the Intercom’s card reader area.

In the SmartPlus app, tap “Me” > Authorization. Enable Bluetooth Unlock and select “Tap as Card” as the unlock mode. The door will open when users place their mobile phones on the Intercom’s card reader area.

Facial Recognition Access

Tap on “Face Recognition” to configure facial recognition access.

You can take a photo or select an image.

By bringing your phone’s camera close to your face, the door will automatically open.
