TK ELEVATOR

TK Elevator (branded as TKE) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and service providers of urban mobility systems, including elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and accessibility lifts.

TK ELEVATOR TECHNOLOGY

TK Elevator (TKE) technology centers on high-efficiency mechanical engineering, advanced vertical transportation systems, and cloud-connected digital platforms.

Digital Ecosystems & IoT Platforms

TK Elevator improves building automation through three key systems. Its MAX platform links to elevator sensors using Microsoft Azure. Machine learning tracks wear like motor heat or alignment issues. It alerts technicians early, cutting downtime by up to 50 percent. Next, AGILE destination controls manage rider traffic through lobby screens. The system groups people going to the same floor into one elevator. This setup reduces wait times and cuts energy use during rush hours. Finally, open APIs let service robots talk directly to elevators. Autonomous robots can call cars and travel between floors easily.

Space-Saving & High-Throughput Hardware Innovations

TK Elevator builds modern systems for moving people. Its TWIN setup runs two elevator cars in one shaft. Separate drives and smart controls help it carry 30 percent more riders. This design also saves 25 percent of shaft space in tall buildings. Meanwhile, MULTI replaces steel cables with magnetic drives. It lets elevator cars move both up and sideways through connected loops. This creates fresh options for building designs. Lastly, ACCEL moving walkways speed up foot traffic in busy hubs. They smoothly move people up to 12 kilometers per hour to shorten travel times across large spaces.

Natively Digital & Sustainable Elevator Lines

TK Elevator boosts building performance with its EOX platform and HELIX systems. EOX works best in low to mid-rise buildings. It uses smart chips, cloud tools, and adaptive Eco-Modes. These tools track usage patterns to lower off-peak power use by up to 45 percent. For tall skyscrapers, HELIX uses high-torque gearless motors and strong composite belts. It also uses active roller guides and streamlined cabs. This combination ensures smooth, high-speed rides with minimal shaking.

Eco-Efficiency & Energy Harvesting

TK Elevator lowers energy use with regenerative drives and gearless machines. Regenerative drives capture energy when a heavy cab moves down or a light cab moves up. The system turns motor spinning into power for building lights and air systems. At the same time, gearless motors and coated steel belts replace old geared systems and heavy cables. This design cuts friction, drops the need for oil, runs quietly, and lowers the overall carbon footprint.

HOW TK ELEVATOR DESTINATION DISPATCH WORK

TK’s Destination Dispatch Elevators Access Control System (primarily branded under AGILE – Destination Control) replaces traditional up/down hallway buttons with interactive touchscreen kiosks or mobile app interfaces in the elevator lobby.

TK Elevator

DESTINATION SELECTION

Before entering an elevator, the passenger selects their desired target floor using a lobby terminal, touch screen, or smartphone.

ALGORITHM GROUPING

Instead of sending cars randomly, the central AGILE Dispatch Controller runs mathematical algorithms to group passengers traveling to the same or nearby floors into the same elevator car.

CAR ASSIGNMENT

The kiosk immediately displays an elevator cab assignment (e.g., “Go to Elevator C”). Tha cab internal button panel is eliminated or disabled, minimizing intermediate stops, reducing waiting times, and lowering energy consumption.

INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURE WITH GALLAGHER COMMAND CENTRE

When a building utilizes Gallagher Command Centre for access system alongside TK Elevator AGILE Destination Dispatch, the two platforms interface via an Ethernet High-Level Interface (HLI Connection Destination Dispatch). This ensures that vertical transportation permissions are dynamically tied to physical security credentials.

STEP-BY-STEP

CREDENTIAL PRESENTATION

A user swipes an RFID card, presents a mobile NFC/Bluetooth credential, or scans a biometric reader at a lobby speed gate turnstile or an AGILE floor destination kiosk.

ACCESS CALIDATION (GALLAGHER)

  • The reader sends the credential ID to the Gallagher Controller (e.g, Controller 7000/6000) over OSDP/Wiegand.
  • Gallagher Command Centre evaluates the cardholder’s Access Group (e.g., “Tenant A – Permitted Floors 12, 14,1 and 15“).

HLI AUTHORIZATION TRASNFER

Via the Gallagher TKE Elevator Integration License (C12859) over TCP/IP, Gallagher passes the authorized floor mask and user profile data to the TKE AGILE Security Server.

AUTOMATED DISPATCH & GATE RELEASE

  • If the user has access to a single default floor (e.g., Floor 14), the turnstile gate unlocks, and the screen on the turnstile top panel automatically displays: “Proceed to Elevator A”.
  • If the user has access to multiple floors, the turnstile releases, and the user selects their desired floor on an adjacent AGILE kiosk, which only displays the floors permitted by Gallagher.

BENEFITS

Integrating TK Elevator (TKE) AGILE Destination Dispatch with Gallagher Command Centre deliver major advantages across building security, tenant flow, operational management, and system infrastructure.

Superior Traffic Efficiency & Faster Commute Times

By pairing Gallagher’s card readers with TKE’s AGILE algorithms, the system automatically groups passengers by destination floor to minimize intermediate stops. Consequently, building tenants experience significantly faster commutes during peak hours. Furthermore, direct turnstile integration lets users scan their access badges just once upon entering the lobby. The display immediately directs them to a specific cab, such as “Elevator C.” Ultimately, this streamlined process eliminates lobby bottlenecks during high-traffic periods.

Streamlined Security & Centralized Administration

Property managers administer floor rights, card issuance, and schedules entirely within Gallagher Command Centre. Consequently, the system automatically syncs these permissions over the High-Level Interface to TKE, eliminating double-entry errors. Furthermore, cardholders only receive elevator assignments for authorized floors based on their assigned access groups. This strict control effectively prevents unauthorized movement between building levels. Ultimately, revoking a user in Gallagher immediately severs their access across the entire TKE elevator network in real time.

TK Elevator

Personalized Passenger & Accessibility Experience

Gallagher passes special user flags directly to TKE controllers to enable automatic priority car dispatch or express floor runs. Consequently, emergency medical teams and VIPs receive instant elevator service during urgent situations. Furthermore, badging at the terminal automatically triggers extended door times and audio-visual cues for users with accessibility profiles. The system also routes cardholders directly to their primary work floor without requiring manual button selections. Ultimately, these integrated profiles deliver a personalized, hands-free elevator experience for every passenger.

Enterprise Audit Trails & Emergency Response

Gallagher Command Centre continuously logs every elevator call, floor access request, and rejected attempt in its Event Monitor. Consequently, security teams maintain complete visibility over vertical movement across the facility. Furthermore, Gallagher interfaces directly with TKE controllers during emergency alarms to restrict elevator usage to first responders. The system also logs each user’s last known floor destination to support fast, accurate headcount tracking. Ultimately, this seamless data integration strengthens emergency evacuation procedures and audit compliance.

Infrastructure & Energy Savings

Using an Ethernet software connection eliminates the need for expensive physical relay boards traditionally wired to every elevator button. Consequently, building owners significantly reduce upfront hardware and cabling costs. Furthermore, TKE’s optimized cab dispatching minimizes unnecessary elevator starts and stops across the facility. This intelligent routing lowers overall power consumption and helps properties earn green building certifications like LEED. Ultimately, modern software integration cuts both initial capital expenses and long-term operating costs.
